The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

In order to practice good design and placemaking, we must put ourselves in the shoes of the users. By empathizing their needs and gain realistic insights. In tackling the drastic contrast between youths and seniors of Jalan Besar. The seniors who preserve the existing heritage, and the youths that bring about the hipster culture. The key idea of ‘new meets old’ through intergenerational mingling. Using Heritage to re-ignite the spark and Arts to bring people together. My design will be to respond to the programs, breaking the spaces in circular bubbles that allow the form to adapt, promoting connections between the interior and exterior.
