The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Gallary @ Kampong Glam
The Gallery @ Kampong Glam is designed to be a public arts center for everyone regardless of who they are to create art.
The building form was designed with the relation to the other buildings on the site, more specifically the elevation of the other buildings. The facade treatment is different based on the uses of the interior spaces within the building itself ( ie. the gallery, auditorium, arts village and the studio). The multiple skylights and curtain facades throughout the building allows the building to seem brighter and more welcoming. It also allows the public to view the gallery from the outside.

Hi, I am Darwyn, a student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Diploma in Sustainable Urban Design and Engineering, specializing in Architecture. My interest in design and arts has led me to pursue architecture throughout my polytechnic days and further my interest in design. With my new found knowledge and tools I've learnt, I feel that I am more motivated and ready to take my designing to another higher extent in the future.
