The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Little India Arts Center
The Arts Center was designed to provide a platform for the Indian community to showcase their arts while also attracting youths to visit Little India and explore its rich heritage.
The building form was designed with creating a contrast in mind. The light looking facade, angular form and circular openings of the building aims to create contrast against the dense rigid forms of shophouses in Little India. The screen patterns and openings give reference to geometry in Indian architecture while the screen, clerestory openings, and skylights allow for play of light and shadows.
