The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Reliving Arts Centre
To create an art centre for the less privileged families and artist, to allow business opportunities, interactions, inspirations and create a safe space for those people, while retaining and increasing awareness of Malay Heritage through the use of Malay Art in Kampong Glam.
Stacking, subtraction & addition of blocks allow a visual hierarchy. Interlocking spaces to create interactions & motivations for users to take part in the activities. Green roofs, Vertical climbers & perforated aluminum facades with wayang kulit expressions are used as passive design strategies to cool the building.
