The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Revive // Reminisce
Both architectural elements of the old and current, like traditional Malay Vernacular House and shophouses of different centuries, Revive // Reminisce will display a modern take through its incorporation. Traditional Malay geometrical patterns, alongside graffiti art seen in Kampong Glam also inspired the scattered triangular design of its semi-porous facade that leaves unique shadow castings for users’ admiration. Situated in the core of Kampong Glam, Revive // Reminisce promotes a stronger visual arts scene and encourages deeper appreciation towards greenery through triple volume spaces and openness in connectivity between indoor and outdoor.
