You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Bloombudz

WHAT
Bloombudz is an interactive planter to teach children how to grow their own consumable produce in order to instill knowledge on sustainability and values that will stay with them till adulthood.
WHY
By 2030, Singapore aims to produce 30% of our food locally which shows a growing market for agriculture and a need to innovate for the efficiency of the industry.
HOW
Bloombudz is a friendly interactive buddy that helps kids learn how to grow their own produce in a fun way. With different facial expressions, kids become interested in caring for their buddy, and a moisture and watering tracker linked to the app helps users remember when to water their plants. The app also offers gamified learning and allows users to connect with other Bloombudz. By learning about the challenges of growing food, children develop an appreciation for it and can reduce food waste.

Hi, I’m Mira, an aspiring designer and eager learner ready to impact lives one innovation at a time. Inspired by Doraemon as a kid, I've always been keen on wanting to make my own “gadgets” to help convenience how we do things. When I’m not doing design-related things I like to spend my time crafting and dabbling into new hobbies I can keep my hands busy with.
