The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

WHAT
Naavi consists of a physical GPS navigation device and a mobile application duo. It was designed to help children navigate places independently while ensuring their safety.
WHY
Nowadays, many families with children have two incomes, and parents often struggle to find time for their kids, let alone spend time with them. Naavi was therefore created for parents who wish to protect their kids' safety while still helping them cultivate independence.
HOW
Naavi uses vocal instructions to guide children on their journeys. Parents can track their location at every moment through the application, be notified if their child goes off course or is missing, and send reports quickly. Naavi additionally uses augmented reality ("AR") characters as an engaging way of parent-child communication.

Hello! I’m Alya, here is a little bit more about me:
A - An art geek at heart, I love doing all things art and craft, from pottery to painting, and admiring hand-crafted masterpieces from other artists.
L - Lifelong learning is my core belief. I’m always looking to improve my skills or pick up new experiences, and I think design is the perfect industry to do so.
Y - Yarn is one of my favourite things. I love working with yarn through crocheting and knitting.
A - be Active physically and mentally! I love challenging my brain by solving puzzles and exercising equally.
