Sociocultural Village

Sociocultural Village aims to increase empathy and create a stronger social cohesion in Singapore. The site poses as a prime location to tackle the changing social trends of Singapore while also integrating the Registry of Marriage. The programs build upon the educational identity of the site and create new areas for both formal and informal learning through language classes and galleries. The project mimics the informality of the village typology and creates pockets of public spaces that would encourage social interaction while giving the visitors a sense of exploration.
