The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

With the new generation growing up and starting their own families, this Life Experience Hub caters not only for couples who are getting married but also targets young families as they go through the challenges of parenting a new digitally inclusive age of children. New culture and technology brings about new family dynamics and situations.
Kith-netic serves to inspire active social engagement to aid these families in their upcoming challenges of discovery and parenthood. Hence, the design incorporates social workshops and mediation experiences that not only hope to stimulate better interaction between family members, but also create a space for exchange of advice between parents.

Mabuhay! I’m Janyka! Throughout my academic career, I experienced participatory design and service-learning which has helped shape my views and approach towards architecture. I believe that great design is the result of collaborative work combined with innovative and sensitive values. I am intrigued by the constant reinvention of both social and environmental architecture.
