WHAT

Kinex is a headset designed as an additional assistant for the visually impaired. Kinex is used with the white cane to help the users on their daily journey.

WHY

The white cane is not as effective for detecting low-hanging objects and obstacles such as stairs. Kinex serves as an assistant to help users identify these obstacles to reduce chances of injuries for them.

HOW

Kinex makes use of technology such as sonar sensors and artificial intelligence to help the visually impaired identify obstacles and assist them in their daily lives. Some functions include the ability identify obstacles and relaying information to the users through bone conduction technology.
