Flex

WHAT
FLEX is a hands free crutches that not only aids in walking but also free the users' hands so that they can be independent in the recovery process. FLEX provides a more natural support as compared to normal crutches as it mimics the movement of leg and feet.
WHY
The thought of this product came from during my internship, I saw that one of my female co-worker was using crutches and it turns out she was using it for months already. During the whole duration of working in the office, it made me think of the daily struggles she goes through when using crutches.
HOW
The main frame is made of aluminium, the straps are nylon straps, the feet is ABS and the indoor and outdoor soles are made of EVA/rubber (Ethylene vinyl acetate). All the materials choose are base on it being lightweight, durability and the properties.
