Bersama @ Pek Kio

The concept of this integenerational community hub revolved around the kampung culture, when people were closer to nature and had a strong community spirit. While addressing the key issues of the generational gap between the elderly and children and weak sense of belonging, this hub aims to connect people to people, and people to nature. This is achieved through the various programmes included to enhance relationships. Its roundness suggests a lean towards the social aspects of life, where each circle represents different groups of people coming together through intersections created. The spaces are created with careful consideration to the surrounding site context to improve our users’ experience.
