The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Create@Jalan Besar
Create@Jalan Besar is an Integrated active aging and youth hub based along the Rochor River in Jalan Besar. Situated close to Lavender MRT, the main aim of the community center is to generate chance encounters and authentic connections between its local elderly residents and the youths visiting the area. Through its Core Makers and Crafting style of activities, Create aims to foster meaningful relationships between its visitors, and to spark curiosity and learn more about the production history of Jalan Besar. Create was founded on the concept of a DNA Strand,inspired by the crossing relationship between elderly and youths, within the various shared interpersonal spaces. Ultimately Create has an aim to ensure that Intergenerational Relationships would always be ingrained in our DNA. - Zechariah 8:4-5
Dimitri Tan Zheqi
My name is Dimitri, and I am a fresh graduate from Ngee Ann polytechnic’s school of design, specializing in architecture. Being an individual who believes in the spirit of self improvement, I strive to face every task as an opportunity for me to improve my skills and grow as a person. Through my 3 years in Ngee Ann’s school of design, besides my Architectural studies, I have garnered additional experience in product development, graphic design and UI/UX Website design. I’m always on the lookout for more opportunities to hone my skills as a designer in the future.
