Haven.

Within the bustling Serangoon Road, lies haven, a wellness center that functions as an urban sanctuary allowing its visitors to unwind, relax and improve their overall wellbeing. Haven’s target visitors include Migrant Workers and Adults. By providing a common shared space within a calming environment, haven aims to forge bonds between its visitors to reduce the prejudice and discrimination that the Migrant Workers face. With its external views blocked by surrounding buildings. Haven focus largely on internal views by incorporating extensive greenery, organic curves and unique circulation spaces. By adopting a central courtyard, cross ventilation and natural lighting is able to seep into the spaces. This allows the circulation spaces on each level to create visual connection and porosity, curating varying views across the building.

Kendria Ng Shi Qi

Hello! I am Kendria, a student graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Diploma in Design, Specialising in Architecture. I am someone who constantly challenges myself to break out of my comfort zone and try new things! Some passions of mine include Environmental causes as well as Social work; I find that Architecture is a good mix between these two passions of mine as it provides me with the opportunity to tackle these two problems at the same time by functional designing spaces for its users. I have a keen eye for detail, and am always curious to learn more!
