The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Jalan Besar Active Aging Centre
In addition to the current Jalan Besar Community Center across the street, the Jalan Besar Active Aging Center is a new A&A project located at 814 Jellicoe Road. In order to connect these buildings, an unconventional linkway is proposed. Like the banyan tree, this project aims to be the heart of the area, where villagers meet for conversations. As a result, seniors are encouraged to think and move actively, while cross-generational interactions are improved. Depending on the level, seniors will experience rest and activity alternately. Each level includes a different program. There are ramps connecting the levels to attract the elderly's attention and allow them to distinguish between them more easily. As part of enhancing the open-to-sky balconies, a light well was created.

Hi! I am Koness, a Year 3 Student studying Design, Architecture at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
I am passionate about spatial spaces especially for homes as I love to rearrange furniture at home and design spaces for comfort that people would want to live in. I am an INFP, a mediator who not only takes care of her peers but is also easy to work with. I stepped up as a cell group leader to guide and listen to my cell mates when they needed help. This allows me to practice empathy to further understand my clients and peers.
