The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

Canning Creative Centre
Bringing people together in a Post-Covid19 Society - With the Covid-19 Pandemic slowly but surely getting under control, it is time to rethink what social and community-bonding activities could look like in this ‘new normal’. The centre aims to bring together people of Fort Canning through a universally understood principle: the creation and enjoyment of art.
People of various age groups, social statues and whether they are a one-time visitor or a regular to Fort Canning are all welcome. Of particular note is the community of people who suffer from mental disorders. Special art-therapy programmes help and encourage social exposure. The contrast of enclosed and open spaces, coupled with the use of shading techniques against an abundance of natural lighting makes the experience within the construct truly amazing, albeit easy to navigate.

Wang Zi Yao
Hello! I'm Zi Yao and I am a Year 3 student studying Sustainable Urban Design & Engineering in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I am highly passionate about the built environment and the ways architecture can change how we live for the better. I care deeply for nature, and I attempt to incorporate sustainability in all of my work. Highly motivated to learn, grow and excel in the building industry, I hope I will be able to put my understanding of sustainable architecture and training in CAD design to good use.
