With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

Flying Strips
Flying Strips is a cultural exchange hub which encourages integration between Singaporeans and foreigners. By facilitating the formation of friendship and shared experience among them, it helps to foster mutual understanding and acceptance through their interactions. The project re-envisions regular archetypal street grid stacking in a perpendicular orientation. To enhance program mix and create greater variation of space, the building consists of interwoven horizontal bands which cross at split levels. These wide, linear bands act like city streets to allow for dynamic and diverse exchanges between the galleries, lobby, cafe, dining areas, flea market, and workshops.

Wei Qin
Hi, I’m Wei Qin. I believe architecture has its character endowed by the architects who share their notions with the users through spatial planning. There is an intangible communication between architect and user in which architecture can engage the user by delivering certain messages and emotions.
