Kidsville

Kidsville is a fantasy escape for children at risk. It is a Children’s Cultural Centre where children are given the freedom to participate in arts, culture and recreational programmes under a protected home-like environment. Conceived with the intention of creating a congenial space like “home”, the main shape of the structure draws inspiration from the drawing of a “house” perceived by a child. The structure is made of a series of units according to a child’s fundamental needs. These units are strategically oriented to face the central space, “celebrate”, essentially establishing the children’s social area where various activities occur.

Rheanne Verceluz

The perspective of a structure varies from the point of view of an observer; Architecture is much deeper than form-making, it is about facilitating experiences and positively influencing the people within it. I am Rheanne Verceluz. I advocate to design meaningful spaces that inspire, exhilarate and most importantly, improve living.
