The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

Meditation Connect Zone
For my final year submission, I improved on my year 3 final year project. The design this time around focused on promoting bonding between young families through sports-related activities which encourage mental healing simultaneously. This time, I tried to be creative with my spaces, creating interesting pocket spaces which provide views for all floors of the hub. The design of the Meditation Connect Zone allows mental healing to progress with every floor. The first floor is a commercial space that allows visitors to bond as well as socialize, the second floor consists of programs that revolve around mindful sports such as aerobic exercises, and the third floor being a private space which solely focuses on mental healing and Zen.

I feel that the most important aspect of architecture in our daily lives is that it shows a reflection of culture and how it is defined through the design of spaces. Architecture also allows me to be creative and not just constrained to one design. This allowed me to experiment with different forms of architectural designs which could express different types of moods and expressions.
