The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
The Bond
The project is to create a community centre which is mainly for recreational purposes socially, culturally and physically for all-ages with diversity. The design is to create a strong cohesive society and people engagement. This is a space for people to spend the wonderful with friends, families and others.
Concept
The idea of the massing is inspired by the puzzle, every piece of the puzzles represent different elements and they will become a massive compound when they are placed together. The massings are related to each other and the linkways also symbolize the connection between every place. This place consists of areas for cultural, physical and social activity to heal people's mental and physical health.
Pu Wen Wen
I am Wen Wen, an architecture student from SDE in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I am interested in designing as it can improve life quality and create colourful space for people while catering to their needs. To be a good architect and designer is always my desired career path to design the beautiful and meaningful spaces.
