The Unwinding is a sanctuary or oasis for those stressed out working adults or students from the nearby area to relax through the building’s activities. With it located beside the Registry of Marriage (ROM), Fort Canning Park in the back, and 1-2 buildings across the road, the building is peaceful and quiet, a perfect place for relaxation. Through the use of vertical louvers as screens throughout the building, it provides a sense of security and privacy in an open and public building. With the integrated nature all around the spaces, the building acts as an extension of Fort Canning Park.
