Lumi
by Ng Wei Ling
WHAT
A wallet for the visually impaired.
WHY
The issue with currency for the visually impaired lies in the ease of giving and receiving the correct amount of money. Hence, Lumi helps in easing the anxiety and increasing convenience for the visually impaired.
HOW
Made of goatskin which makes it soft to the touch, Lumi has a bottom rounded corner that helps the visually impaired in orienting their wallets. Tactile dots are found on the sides of the RFID protected card slots and the seams of the note slots to help in the differentiation and organisation of the notes and cards.
