The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

WHAT
Koné is a smart agriculture system that consists of sensors and an application, tracking soil conditions of moisture, light, pH levels and temperature.
WHY
By 2030, Singapore aims to produce 30% of our food locally which shows a growing market for agriculture and a need to innovate for the efficiency of the industry.
HOW
Koné consists of external plant sensors, Koné’s main sensors and the application. All information registers on Koné sensors and gets transferred to the user’s application either via Wifi or Bluetooth.
Jayne Ngoh
As a visual learner, I love to expose myself to anything creative from dance, design and doodles. Product design has not only given me that outlet to spread that creative rush on beautifying my works, but it has also taught me the practicality of design and what it means to put that creativity into empathy and understanding for the benefit of the user.
