The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

WHAT
Funiki is a smart bedside table that is made to suit the elderly as it does not require much physical strength.
WHY
The purpose of the product is to allow users to read at night while not waking others up with the strong room lights and also provide floor lighting at night.
HOW
The light emitted is dim but also enough for a user to read books at night. And with the touch features, the elderly are able to access it easily.

Hello, I'm Dayne currently studying at Ngee Ann Polytechnic taking Product Design & Innovation. I took this course as I love design and art since young. And after taking two heavy coursework modules (D&T and Art) in secondary school. I have decided to choose this course.
