You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.

WHAT
The Illumi set is an unconventional set consisting of the Wayfinder walking stick and the Lightbringer bedside table. It is a home furnishing/ personal gadget product designed for the elderly.
WHY
With the advent of smart personal health devices, I saw the opportunity to adapt it to benefit the older generation to enable them to be more independent more confidently.
HOW
The Illumi: Wayfinder is a walking stick with built-in lights and fall detection to alert loved ones. The Illumi: Lightbringer is a bed-side table that acts as a charging dock to the Wayfinder.

My answer to the question of “what do you want to be when you grow up” had always been: an inventor. The way I see it, designers are the modern-day inventors. Paving the way into the future and challenging the norm and limitations of current day processes and products is my reason to design.
