The course integrates three important disciplines of product design – Arts, Engineering and Business. You will get to explore design processes at every stage, from idea conceptualisation to realisation, and graduate with quality design folios, including working prototypes. With our studio-based learning approach, you will work in modern design studios and develop prototypes using state-of-the-art model making equipment and facilities.
Antithesis
With its two grand swings, the intersecting buildings collide two contrasting atmospheres of celebration and therapeutic. The site is caught between scenes, bustling cityscape and a quiet historical park. Towards the city sits an inviting design gesture of openness which celebrated the solemnization process and the gatherings take place there. Facing the park sits a more intimate retreat for the soulful, the softer curve integrates the park's flushing greenery and soothing nature. The winding interior recognizes both aspects and creates a physical metaphor for an ever-changing journey for those who wish to find themselves or those to find one another.
Su Yijing
Hi, I’m YiJing. Growing as a designer, I strive to balance the holistic, sociological and aesthetic factors of my work that leaves a positive cultural impact on the site and its inhabitants. My designs take inspiration from organic forms that aim to cultivate seamless transitions of space that soothes the user as they move throughout the structure.
